I saw you embracing life,

Arms thrown wide,

The wind in your hair

With a stride that longed to fly

And almost did, this earthly plane

For in that moment you were sailing

And I bore witness side to side,

Your golden glory radiating through

All that is

Upon all that will ever be…

 

There is heaven within the mountain when you reach out

And claim this earth your treasure

To have and to hold,

To channel and to give

And the air is all the richer

For it having breathed through you

And the world all the more blessed

Having saved a step for you

For we are conscious of the miracle you create

And grateful still,

Your saving grace

While I give rise to all that is true,

Happy to be among,

Life embraced by you.
